Our Mission
The mission of Queen of the Apostles Preparatory Academy is to educate children within a classical tradition and to bring them to the gifts of our faith through sacred scripture and tradition. Through our rigorous curriculum, the students will gain the skills that they will need in order to succeed in college, careers, and in their professional lives. They will learn to love their neighbor, love God, and love their country. By growing within this environment of high standards, the children learn the very essence of their dignity as children of God.
When G.K. Chesterton said, “There is only one subject,” he was of course referring to that subject that today’s wordsmiths go out of their way to avoid: God. -The Society of G.K. Chesterton

We offer our students an educational experience that is rigorous, challenging, and engaging in the context of a Christian community. Students are encouraged to integrate religious academic study with their daily lives, to be role models to others, to participate in prayer and worship services, to make good moral choices, and to reach out in service to others.
Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important.

Is your education bringing you closer to God? Does your current education help and support your faith?
We offer a quality classical education for the early years through 12th grade, in harmony and humility under the example of Jesus Christ, designed to offer our students an experience that is rigorous, challenging and engaging in the context of a Christian community, and following the teachings of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
Queen of the Apostles Preparatory Academy is an independent academy. It is not operated in connection with or affiliated with St. Francis Church or with The Hartford Roman Catholic Diocesan Corporation. Queen of the Apostles Preparatory Academy was developed with the belief that a high quality classical education is to be accessible to all children.
Even if they are demanding answers, the young are not afraid of them; more to the point, they even await them. -Saint John Paul the Great
